Pasturage and Boarding
Not our usual service, but I could see a group of dairyman forming a PleasantCreekHay Partnership to perhaps lease common facilities. ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE ENGAGED IN OTHER PARTNERSHIP ACTIVITIES WITH ONE ANOTHER!
We at PleasantCreekHay.com have standards. If you are going to provide pasture, you have to provide fly and worm control. For pink eye, fly control goes a long way, but we require at least 3 X a week observation. Alternate days are better and daily observation best.
Maine to North Carolina? Depending on boarding lengths, the cost of trucking isn't so high that in theory our dairyman couldn't conduct business through out the region, transporting their cattle either direction from Maine to North Carolina!
If you've intentions of providing Boardage and Pasture for 2012 or would like to have your babies and drycows boarded or pastured I hope you will sign up for our referral service. We charge both owners a reasonable 1% the first year and .75% per year for each of the 6 subsequent years. With an annual extention. (If you are happy with the referral! You should be happy paying annually for the referral)
WE DON'T ASK TO BE PAID UP FRONT FOR MULTI-YEAR CONTRACTS!
We've asked for your phone! No way are we calling you unless immediate communication is criticle.
email's are great!
